Welcome to the website for Castlebay's Maine music programs; 'Music of the Maine Coast' and 'Historic Ballads of Maine'.

Maine musicians Julia Lane and Fred Gosbee have been performing together the songs and music of their native state since 1987. They are well known for their vast repertoire, deep knowledge of the music, personable presentations, and humor – oh, and they can sing, too!

In addition to the large number traditional songs they perform, they have written and recorded over 60 original songs and melodies.
